Charlotte Montagu Douglas Scott, Duchess of Buccleuch

Charlotte Anne, Duchess of Buccleuch and Queensberry VA (10 April 1811 – 18 March 1895) was born Lady Charlotte Anne Thynne, daughter of the 2nd Marquess of Bath. On the 13 March 1829 she was married at St George's, Hanover Square to the Duke of Buccleuch. She served as Mistress of the Robes to Queen Victoria, a post later also filled by her daughter-in-law Louisa.

She was mother of the 6th Duke of Buccleuch and the 1st Lord Montagu of Beaulieu.

To her husband's distress, she converted to Roman Catholicism.[1]
